School has always been something I’ve struggled with. I never wanted to go to college until recently. I’m here for many reasons. One, I want to see what the college experience is like. I want to be able to be independent and feel comfortable and confident in my education. Two, I want to go to school for something that I hope to spend the rest of my life doing, and college is the place for that. But I honestly don’t know what I want to spend the rest of my life doing yet…

There are things that I accomplished in high school that I never thought I would be able to achieve, and that’s what I’m hoping to get out of college too. But there are many obstacles that I have faced academic wise throughout my whole life, and those are my learning disabilities. They have always been able to bring me down and overcome my confidence in myself. It took me many years to get to where I am now but its still a learning progress.
