“Why not watch a movie instead? Reading just had made no sense to me and I never thought my mind would change about that.” This got my attention because I can relate to that. I had a long period of time in my life when reading just simply didn’t appeal to me, and I would much rather have just watched a movie.

I think the writers thesis in this narrative is that you shouldn’t be judgmental of something that you haven’t really tried to get in to before. You may never know how much you will enjoy something unless you just rip the bandaid off and do it. Overall, this was a fun narrative to read and I liked how I could relate to the feelings the writer had.
