Blog 3 “Dishing Dirt”

“In my memory, she’s so close I can see ink stains on the tips of her fingers.” I chose this quote because I think it sums up the post very well.

I think this last sentence really shows how we cannot judge a book by its cover and rumors can sometimes not be true. Even though the narrater has told us she has spent so much time talking negatively about the girl, she sees her as an equal in the final paragraph. That every human is so similar in every way and that nobody is perfect.

I think the purpose of this story is to show how everybody is human and shares similarities. We should not judge people as though they are not human.
