This quote is important to the essay because it starts to show how this movie is related to college students and how really alike this movie is to those moving to college. Moana is trying to find herself, just like college students. They move away from home and find out who they really are. I think that the thesis of this essay is “follow your dreams.” The author can support this because throughout the whole essay and movie Moana doesn’t let anyone or anything stand in her way of getting what she wants.
