“Steroids help aging men build muscle mass and speed the healing of injured muscles” (Carl Hall). I found this quote when i was researching about steroids. I did not know that steroids helped heal injured muscles. I knew that they helped build muscle mass though. Steroids are not always a bad drug. Sometimes they can be good for the body.

  1. That is interesting. It is such a shame when a drug gets used foolishly and gives it a bad name. Steroids can be so helpful for many ailments but they get a bad name because of wrong usage.

  2. I remember back in middle school when I got injured, I was prescribed a medication that had a minor dose of steroids mixed into it. I remember being really confused and shocked when I was reading the labels, but now that makes so much more sense!

  3. This is interesting information. I know steroids can be used for more than body building but I didn’t realize they could help heal muscle.
